Hello KupoCon Fans!

As we've said from the beginning, KupoCon is a community event, so naturally we want to get the community involved. We're giving you a unique opportunity to bring something to the table. From here you'll be able to learn about an opportunity to submit an event/activity for KupoCon.

This application is not for ideas. This is for people who actively want to pursue their idea. If you have a general thought you want to submit for KupoCon to consider, try submitting it on our community forums in the "Ideas and Suggestions" section.

So let's begin. You'll find the application at the bottom of this page, but be sure to read this information carefully.

What do I want to organize?

Panel: A panel is where a number of individuals will sit in front of an audience and have an open discussion or educational session about one or multiple topics. For example, you may want to host a panel where you talk about different play styles, to discuss the story of a specific game, to talk about the music of the series or perhaps the artwork. Usually a panel have varying opinions on a topic. Perhaps you want to do a straight Q&A. The possibilities are endless.

Duration: 30-90 minutes.
Event Capacity: 350

Talk: While very similar to a panel, a talk generally involves less interaction from the audience. You may wish to educate people, or offer an in-depth look at a specific topic. Perhaps you want to educate people on Final Fantasy MMO's or offer a walkthrough guide of a FF smartphone game. Talks are usually limited to one or two people, whereas Panels are groups. We encourage Q&A's at the end of the sessions.

Duration: 30-60 minutes.
Event Capacity: 350

Workshop: A workshop generally involves a physical interaction and are usually situated at a table. Perhaps it's crafting or something similar. It usually involves each individual participating directly with the host. Maybe you are producing art, origami or something else creative. Let your imagination run wild.

Duration: 15-30 minutes.
Event Capacity: 25 per session

Other: Perhaps you have something in mind that doesn't fall into these choices. No problem. Let us know exactly what you have in mind, and if we think it will work, we'll do our best to accommodate you. It's thank to public submissions that we have events like Qu's Marsh. If you have something to bring to the table, let us know!

Duration: 30-60 minutes.
Event Capacity: 0-500

Here are a few tips before submitting your event:

  • We're looking for people who are serious. Providing a detailed application will help us with our decision.
  • Make sure your event has a Final Fantasy theme. After all, this is a fan event.
  • Let us know if you've done anything like this before in your application.
  • We're looking for events that will encourage audience interaction.
  • We're not afraid of something different, so don't be shy!
